The Myron Abbey Center for Christian Studies (TMAC)
Our Founder
Myron Abbey
Myron Abbey is a preacher, seminary student, and teacher with a heart for believers. He is the founder and driving vision behind The Myron Abbey Academy of Christian Studies (TMAC). Since 2020, he has faithfully served as both Youth Minister and Associate Minister at The Rock Church, where he has led Bible studies and sharpened his gifts in biblical exposition and pastoral leadership alongside seasoned mentors.
In tandem with his local church ministry, Myron completed the intensive discipleship program at Downline Institute from 2020 to 2021, earning a Certificate of Commission and hands-on experience equipping others for spiritual growth and mission. In recognition of his character and calling, he was ordained a deacon in 2020 and, a year later, ordained to the work of the Gospel as a minister.
Academically, Myron holds a Bachelor of Urban Theological Studies from Union University—where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was honored on the President’s List—and is now pursuing a Master of Divinity in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. There he has been invited into the prestigious Shepherds Fellowship cohort and awarded a full-tuition scholarship for his first year.
“I created TMAC because I believe every Christian deserves deep, biblical training—without having to enter a traditional classroom. Whether you’re called to preach, parent, serve, or simply grow—TMAC is your training ground.”
At TMAC, Myron integrates his classroom excellence and frontline ministry experience to cultivate a learning environment where “forming disciples and grounding leaders” is more than a motto—it’s the very heartbeat of every course and mentorship opportunity.
What Is TMAC?
The Myron Abbey Center for Christian Studies (TMAC) is a fully online 3-year discipleship program offering rigorous, Bible college-level training for everyday believers.
At TMAC, we combine spiritual formation with theological comprehension, equipping students to walk faithfully, think biblically, and lead courageously in every area of life.
There are no student loans. No academic gatekeeping.
Just Christ-centered, gospel-rich instruction that challenges the mind, shapes the heart, and builds a foundation for lasting discipleship.
Our Mission
TMAC exists to equip everyday Christians with the tools to study God’s Word deeply, live it faithfully, and teach it confidently—without needing a seminary degree to do it.
We believe that every believer—not just pastors—should be grounded in sound doctrine, spiritual discipline, and gospel purpose.

Statement of Faith
The Myron Abbey Academy of Christian Studies (TMAC)
Forming Disciples. Grounding Leaders.
At TMAC, we joyfully affirm the historic Christian faith and stand on the unshakable foundation of God’s Word. Our convictions are rooted in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, which we uphold as a faithful summary of biblical doctrine. We exist to raise up grounded believers who are shaped by truth, formed by Scripture, and prepared to follow Jesus with clarity and conviction.
1. The Authority and Sufficiency of Scripture
We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is the final authority for all matters of faith and practice. God’s Word is sufficient to guide every area of life and ministry, revealing the character of God, the sinfulness of man, and the hope of redemption in Jesus Christ.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God…” – 2 Timothy 3:16
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105
2. The Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—coequal in glory and essence, yet distinct in role and relationship:
• The Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, perfectly holy, wise, and loving.
• The Son, Jesus Christ, is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death, rose bodily from the grave, ascended into heaven, and will return in power and glory.
• The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates hearts, indwells every believer, empowers for godly living, and equips the Church for gospel mission.
3. Humanity and Sin
We believe that every human being is created in the image of God but is fallen and separated from Him by sin. As a result, all are under just condemnation and in need of salvation. Human effort and morality cannot reconcile anyone to God.
4. Salvation by Grace through Faith
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. It is not earned by works, but is entirely accomplished by Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. Salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification—all applied by the Holy Spirit to those who believe.
5. The Ministry of the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit permanently indwells every believer, leading them into truth, empowering them for godly living, and gifting them for service in the body of Christ. He produces spiritual fruit and conforms believers to the image of Christ.
6. The Church and the Mission of God
We believe in the one, universal Church composed of all true believers in Christ, and we affirm the vital role of local churches in discipleship, fellowship, worship, and mission. Every believer is called to be active in the life of the local church and to make Christ known among the nations.
7. Christ’s Return and Final Judgment
We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ. God will raise the dead and bring final judgment: the righteous will enter eternal life in the presence of God, while the unrepentant will face eternal separation. Christ will establish the new heavens and new earth, where righteousness will dwell forever.
8. Confessional Commitment
TMAC affirms the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as our doctrinal foundation. While students are not required to agree with every detail, all who join the Academy must respect and operate within this framework as we pursue truth, formation, and faithful service together.
